“Detroit’s not your average arts capital – and that’s what makes it great.” – Metro Times

From the Heidelberg Project — an abandoned neighborhood turned international tourist destination — to the newfound Detroit Art Week, Displays is inspired to be a part of Detroit’s burgeoning arts scene.

Displays offers comprehensive fine art services for each of Detroit’s galleries and museums. Visitors come from around the country for the Detroit Institute of Arts, a museum founded in 1885 that maintains a strikingly diverse collection. The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, a museum founded in 2006, marks the resurgence of Detroit’s art scene, with a focus on the regional artists responsible for this resurgence. Displays’ ability to offer these institutions an array of fine art services ensures that Detroit stays a prominent figure in the Midwestern art world.

No matter the size and shape of your collection, Displays can make the unique crates that suit your needs.

Displays employs full-time staff to maintain over 75,000 square feet of secured storage space in multiple locations, including closely monitored climate-controlled fine art vaults for sensitive materials.

Sonitrol provides 24-hour security surveillance to ensure the safety of your fine art, antiquities and memorabilia. Sonitrol’s employees monitor our facilities around-the-clock and all video footage is recorded to assure you nothing goes unnoticed.

Sculpture conservation is the most cost-effective strategy to keep your work looking its best. Abusive elements, such as harsh weather and corrosion, can damage patinas and other sensitive finishes.

Displays can accommodate your conservation and maintenance needs, no matter the size of the sculpture. Our team is experienced with a wide breadth of conservation techniques that inform our methods project by project. We assess each work of art individually, paying close attention to the services it needs to recover its natural beauty.
